The Sony’s latest technological era in interchangeable lens camera has just arrived. The new Sony SLT A55 represents a major gadgetry landmark – not only for Sony, but for the entire camera market. The Sony SLT A55 camera is a modern, digital version of the traditional interchangeable lens camera introduced in 1930’s. This non pocket-sized (8x8x3 inches approximately) highly advanced camera is stylish and available in black color. It is equipped with a 16.2megapixel CMOS APS HD sensor, 3-inch 16:9 rotating LCD display screen for viewing images, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, with a battery life of up to 330 EVF images and 380 LCD images, and an option for external memory. You can transfer the taken picture via Bluetooth or USB cable. The device allows users to edit and print photographs in less than a minute. The Sony SLT A55 uses the Sony’s pellicle mirror technology, letting the lens mirror unmovable.

The exterior of this cameras shows that it is made up of high aluminum body, combined with a 14” diagonal lens kit. The translucent mirror technology lets the mirror moving effortless. When the mirror technology is removed, the camera looks compact and more stylish. However, a natural photographer is a mirror techno addict. This camera is equipped with a high quality auto focus, with a nonstop capture of every single moving thing, which could be missed, otherwise. This was made possible due to the fact that it uses a fifteen point auto focus system which ensures maximum autofocus.

For tracking a moving object, SLT A55 holds advanced shot taking features with the compassion of ISO 100: 12900. APS aids to achieve the best result while in dark or terrible lighting conditions. It then uses these two parameters to predict if the car is running too fast. If it does find it beyond the limit it applies brakes automatically which reduces the car speed to a reasonable limit withing 1 second.
